Field Service
Seaboard field service technicians are available for
immediate dispatch night or day from any of our sales and service locations.
Every field service technician is thoroughly trained
to provide the necessary on-site supervision related to equipment installation
and testing, as well as these additional services:
- Repair - When possible, equipment repairs can be
made on-site by our skilled team. If field repair is not feasible, our
technicians will coordinate the return of your equipment, and arrange
and supervise suitable replacement components if requested.
- Preventive Maintenance - Valve lubrication is the
most common maintenance service requested by our customers, and has
proven to extend the life of equipment in the field, avoiding more costly
repairs and replacement. We maintain complete records for each maintenance
program and can provide photographs detailing the equipment condition
as desired.
- Engineering Support - Our technicians have access
to Engineering and Quality Control managers around the clock, 7 days
a week to answer any questions or assist in solving any customer issue
that might arise.
- Inspection Service – Identifying equipment
in the field in preparation of workover projects can save time and money.
Our technicians can identify flange sizes, equipment manufacturer, general
condition, and even provide equipment schematics so there are no surprises
when the rig arrives.
Asset Management
The SEA-CAM asset management program incorporates an
automated database application that provides permanent historical traceability
of assets and their subsequent utilization. It also retains all pertinent
information regarding repair operations, such as work performed, parts
used and perpetual tracking of costs incurred per asset.
This database allows quick location, access and utilization
of assets from any Seaboard or customer location. The system provides
the tools necessary to reduce operating costs by effectively taking advantage
of all customer-owned assets.
Seaboard administers the SEA-CAM program with a constant
commitment to QUALITY and INTEGRITY.
SEA-CAM procedures and documentation promote Total Quality
Management with accurate records supporting full and complete control
of all utilization, repair, storage, maintenance, and reporting operations.
Equipment status, API RL specification levels (when applicable) and application
history is readily accessible.
Elements of SEA-CAM services include:
- Receiving - including identification, condition
assessment, and cataloging;
- Documentation of work performed;
- Secure storage with twenty four-hour access;
- Computerized inventory records listing asset numbers

- Disciplined use of parallel and complete product
descriptions for both new equipment and customer assets (SEA-CAM) insures
successful search queries and retrieval of customer property records,
thereby improving utilization.
