SP, SP-H, and Double IP Seals

The SP seal is a simple press energized design comprised of an elastomer element sandwiched between two compression plates. The assembly is retained in the pocket with a snap ring.

The SP-H seal is similar in design to the SP, but is better suited for use in higher pressure applications. The assembly is retained in the pocket by a threaded ring.

The Double IP seal is ideal for use as crossover where moderately severe service is expected. Each seal is plastic energized, which can also be tested via a port located between the seals to verify seal integrity.
